Dear Host Family.

I am very happy to meet you. My name is Yukari A. Please call me "Yukari."

My family and I lived in Singapore for three years. We came back about three years ago. Since then, I have been about studying English at KGU. I could not speak English when before I went to Singapore. I would like to translate abroad children's books into Japanese.

My hobby is watching movies and I like Japanese dance. I teach it. Do you know Japanese dance? It is elegant. I put on kimono when I do Japanese dance. Kimono is Japanese native costume but the Japanese did not put on kimono in recent year.I want to fly when I was child, so I jumped from a second floor balcony when I was in elementary school student. I was holding an umbrella. It was fun but I felt a pain in a waist.

My husband is a elementary school teacher. His hobby is taking photos. He often took photos when we were young. Now, he takes photos of only our children. We have two children. They are twins, a boy and a girl. They are six years old. They go to elementary school on weekdays.

My sister runs a jazz restaurant and my father runs a wedding restaurant. They are so busy every day. I used to work for a computer software company. I experiment a middle management. It proved to be a valuable experience.I am looking forward to seeing you. Thank you. Good bye.

First experience

I went Parental visitation of a school and observation of children's class. This is a Japanese class so they read a Japanese book. My boy was tense but my daughter wasn't tense.　This is a first experience for my children and me. I think environment is important in the education of children. The most important, I know my smile and health.
